What's cooking?

Well hello!

It's been awhile again since my last post but I have been doing well with exercising more regularly and eating better.

Much better.

This was my breakfast the other day - a little egg with my veggies!

It's coconut oil, spinach, cherry tomatoes, orange pepper, mushrooms, onions and 3 eggs. If you want you can also sprinkle some shredded cheese on it as well - I prefer cheddar, but any cheese will do (in moderation). ;)

Delicious and filling!

I hope to post more recipes and what I'm currently eating and doing for exercise again soon. And a weight loss update!!!

I need to keep myself accountable, right?

Light Reading

Hello!
Lately I've been on the hunt for any and all information on diet, health, low carb, no carb, gluten free, paleo - you name it and I want to know about it!

As you know I'm obsessed with changing and experimenting for weight loss so I've gone back to a low carbohydrate diet consisting of whole foods, lean proteins and not a lot of fruit for now. I feel this way of eating works well for me.

I've been working on some longer posts updating you on the past few months so I hope to post those soon.

But for now if you need me I will be buried in this "light" reading :

Wise Words

I'm currently reading a book by Tosca Reno and I'm loving it so far!

Some wise words which are simply put by her are what I've been doing:

"You can't eat what's not in your cupboards."

Her book is promoting eating clean and it's very interesting. I'm on page 62 and really enjoying her words and story!

Have you read anything by Tosca?

Happy New Year!

Happy 2013! It's a New Year and a fresh start. I'm looking forward to being (and staying) more organized, living in the moment and being healthy overall.

I'm not making a resolution per se - just making broad goals which I hope will guide me all year long.

What do you envision for 2013?

I leave you with this inspirational photo:
